About RhodochrositeRhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral best known for its pink to rose-red coloration. It can occur in massive, banded, or crystalline forms, with variations in color and pattern resulting from its mineral composition and associated minerals. When suitable material is cut and polished, rhodochrosite can display striking shades of pink along with contrasting bands, inclusions, and other natural patterns.
