Trapper Knife with Mammoth Tooth Handles

Past work, not for sale

This Buck trapper knife was customized by Rough Cut Lapidary with polished mammoth tooth handles. The tooth displays prominent cream, tan, brown, blue-gray, and dark banding created by its natural internal structure. The alternating vertical bands and strong contrast between lighter and darker layers give the handles a distinctive striped appearance. The knife measures 3.5 inches closed, with blade lengths of 2 5/8 inches. This piece has been sold and is preserved in the Rough Cut Lapidary gallery as an example of past work.
